Located 18 kilometers from the city of Cienfuegos – known as Cuba’s ‘Pearl of the South’ for its charm and stunningly beautiful bay – the Faro Luna Hotel is a great spot for a sun and sand vacation. Here you can scuba dive and relax on the beach, but are still close enough to Cienfuegos to enjoy its cultural, historical and architectural attractions.

One of the main area attractions is the dolphinarium (entrance fee applies), located within walking distance of Faro de Luna Hotel. There are two dolphin and sea lion shows a day, adored by adults and children alike.

Several sites in the city have been declared part of Cuba’s national architectural heritage: La Punta, the Tomás Acea and Reina Cemeteries, Martí Park, the Botanical Garden and others. In 2005, the historic center of Cienfuegos’ old town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historical and cultural qualities.
