Uluwatu Tour with Dinner at Jimbaran bay. A trip on a road with good pavement meanders across Bukit to its western tip where rocky precipices drop almost 100 meters to the ocean. Visit famous small sea temple of Pura Luhur Uluwatu balances picturesquely on the cliff edge. This is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. Afterwards have a visit to Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park where you will have a visit to GWK Expo Gallery, Wisnu Plaza and enjoy the panoramic view before having dinner at seafood café at Jimbaran – a place where you can relax and enjoy the waves braking that never end.

Uluwatu – Garuda Wisnu Kencana – Jimbaran Bay
Uluwatu Temple is a Hindu temple set on the cliff bank in south part of Bali Peninsula. It is one of Sad Kahyangan Temples in Bali (six big groups of Bali Temples), located in Pecatu Village, Sub district of South Kuta in Badung Regency. It is about 25 km southern part of Denpasar capital city. The temple was situated on the cliff about 80 meters above the sea level. It was built in a small dry forest which is mostly called by Alas Kekeran (interdict forest) which belongs to the temple and dwelt by a lot of monkeys and other animals. Uluwatu consists of two words ulu and watu. The former means head and the later means Therefore literaturely Uluwatu Temple means the temple built on the stone.
Garuda Wisnu Kencana is the complex of culture in Bali. When it is finished it will a very huge statue made in metal. It will be 145 meters standing on the hill. It could be seen from the capital city of Denpasar. The creator of this statue is the Balinese, Nyoman Nuartha. He is the one who has created some tall statues in Indonesia. From now on you can only see three parts of the statue, the body, the head of garuda and the hands of Wisnu. From the hill you can enjoy the panorama of Jimbaran bay, Kuta, Denpasar city, the bridge and Nusa Dua. Some international concerts have been taken place here.
Jimbaran bay is located just next to the air port and there is not any special thing here except some hotels and seafood restaurants. Coming here before sunset is recommended. Dining at Jimbaran Bay eating seafood on the beach in Jimbaran is a quintessential part of many visitor’s itinerary when coming to Bali. A wonderfully calm golden beach, Jimbaran sweeps gently from the airport south towards the Bukit. Jimbaran Bay is home to dozens of restaurants in three different groupings, all set along the beach. The three sections are Muaya, Kedonganan and Kelan. Tables are set up right on the sand and if you sit at the lowest tables at high tide, you can even get your feet wet. The sea breeze is cool, the Fresh seafood with your toes in the sand while the waves of the bay lap the shoreline.
