Situated in Berriedale, this hotel is on a river and area attractions include the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, State Library of Tasmania, and the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. Additional area attractions include Franklin Square and the Maritime Museum of Tasmania.||The aparthotel offers contemporary design, avant-garde art, a restaurant, micro-brewery and a winery near Hobart. The eight pavilions sit on a 3.5 hectare private peninsula that curves into the Derwent River. Each pavilion has panoramic north-facing views, is self-contained, and built to ensure privacy, indulgence and relaxation. Three are glass cubes that appear balanced in the landscape; one is a three-storey diamond-shaped building enclosed in a silver metallic skin; and the remaining four cantilever over the river bank. Facilities available to guests at the air-conditioned establishment include a lobby, bar, laundry service (fees apply) and a car park.||In-room techno toys include dockings stations for an iPod or iPhone, in-room wireless Internet access, a music server with a choice of music pre-installed, 5.1 digital sound, a Blu-ray disc player, Dynalite controlled lighting, and in some pavilions, Aquavision LCD screens with waterproof controls. Other standard features include an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and hairdryer, a double bed, and a kitchen with a minibar and tea and coffee making facilities.||The hotel offers a heated indoor lap pool, a sauna and a gym (all for a fee).||It has a restaurant serving breakfast and set menu lunch and dinner.
