The famous Blue Flag beach of Pärnu, with its white sand, is even closer; it is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the sea, blue in the glittering summer, grey in the stormy autumn and ice-white in the crisp winter. Access to public transport is roughly 1 km away, and the train station is around 4 km from the hotel.||The hotel, dating from 1905, is the most impressive Art Nouveau building in Estonia. It was opened after extensive renovation in 1999 and is among the most outstanding attractions in Pärnu. It is not only a fascinating building to look at, but also a renowned world-class hotel and restaurant, which hosts regular and varied concerts and exhibitions.
