There are plenty of trekking and cycling routes as well as interesting historical squares to be found close by. Links to the public transport network and the centre of Saint Boswell lie about 5 minutes by car from the hotel. Dryburgh Abbey lies around 2 minutes away, Wallace memorial is a 5-minute drive and Melrose Abbey is around a 15-minute car journey away.||Built in 1845 and renovated in 2006, the hotel has a total of 38 rooms spread over two buildings, of which 1 is a junior suite, 2 are suites, 1 is a wheelchair accessible room, 1 is an apartment, 1 is a studio, 1 is a villa and there is also a garden. The hotel has a lobby with a safe and a lift. Furthermore, guests are offered a hotel bar, a restaurant with highchairs, a dining room, a conference room, Internet access (for an added fee) and a bicycle cellar with a rental service. Room and laundry services are available for an added fee as well as a car park.||The rooms are tastefully designed in a classical manor style and include modern facilities. These include an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, radio, tea/coffee maker, ironing facilities, a king-size bed and carpeting also feature within the rooms. Heating is centrally regulated. Each room also features a view of the river and/or the hotel.||Guests are offered an indoor pool and a sauna. Additionally, guests can play miniature golf.
