Situated on the western coast of the Gallipoli Peninsula National Park, famous for its' World War 1 connections, there are strict building regulations which means that the area consists of 60% pine forest, 30% farmland and 10% rural and residential areas. Covering 7 acres of land, the hotel offers a quiet and peaceful environment within beautiful vegetation and close to a beach of fine sand, perfect for long walks. The water is crystal clear and the beach was voted one of the top ten in Turkey by readers of the English newspaper, The Guardian. In the area there are several monuments to the battles which were waged between the Allies and Ottoman forces which are commemorated every year on Anzac Day, 25th April. The island of Gokceada is just off the coast and can be reached by ferry from Kabatepe harbour, 6 km to the north. The town of Eceabat with ferries across to Canakkale is 16 km.
