Guests of the retreat will find themselves encircled by rainforest and accommodated in natural and sustainable luxury. Opened at the beginning of September 2009, it promises all guests a truly unique and memorable experience. The hotel offers 100 guest rooms in total, as well as a 24-hour reception, breakfast room and room service.||The hotel has guest rooms housed in four separate accommodation wings; Kahikatea, Totara, Rimu and Matai, all linked by covered walkways. This retreat offers a choice of bedding and bathroom configurations with rooms featuring either a super king-size or two queen beds. Special attention has been given to guest bedding by adding soft woollen underlays and plush down and wool duvets for extra comfort. Most rooms have large walk-in showers but many also feature baths with a separate shower or a combined shower/tub. Satellite TV, Internet access, an in-room safe and an ironing set also feature in all rooms as standard.
