The resort is situated within the Victoria Falls National Park, a World Heritage Site, and the Zambezi National Park with its many attractions including elephant riding and game viewing nearby.||The family hotel is abundant in entertainment, dining and shopping options. The great enclosure which is located on the premises is the site for various food outlets including Panarottis Pizzeria, Spur Steak House, The Burger Place and The Sweet Hut. Included in the great enclosure are a casino, pharmacy, reserve bank outlet and children's play area. The Makasa Casino is one of the most impressive casinos in Zimbabwe and currently the only casino in the Victoria Falls area. It is a large expansive room with many slot machines for guests to choose from. The hotel has a modern and elegantly decorated conferencing centre that comprises four rooms of various sizes. Built around a man made lake, the 294 rooms are beautifully decorated in deep browns and beiges.
